For Jayalaxmi Jewellers, a Karkala gold house trading since 1990, we built a brand website with collections and appointment booking, and a separate retail ERP. It runs POS billing, savings schemes, old-gold exchange and stock, and sends WhatsApp receipts and reminders from approved templates. Facet, our own ERP for diamond and jewellery manufacturing, tracks each lot from rough to finished piece.

Much of the work fits around two time zones: yours, and your customers'.
We come to Bhatkal and watch a normal hour at the shop: how a bill is made, how a scheme instalment is noted, and what customers abroad ask on WhatsApp.
You get the plan in writing, in plain English or Kannada. It says what we build first, what can wait, and roughly how many weeks each part takes.
Each stage runs on a test copy first. Your staff try real bills on it, including a cancelled one, before anything touches the live counter.
Once billing is steady, we connect WhatsApp: the business account, Meta approval of your message templates, and the first receipts sent.
When a family member in Dubai wants a new report or a template needs changing, you message us and we handle it. Every account stays in your name.

Yes. We keep pages light so they open fast on a phone abroad, put a WhatsApp button on every product or service, and show clear photos and details so nobody has to call with basic questions. Enquiries are routed so one sent late at night from Dubai is waiting for you in the morning.
Yes, when it is built for a jeweller. We built this for Jayalaxmi Jewellers in Karkala: POS billing, savings schemes, old-gold exchange and stock in one system. A Bhatkal shop would get the same kind of counter, set up for its own schemes, its own making and wastage rules and its own staff roles.
Yes, through the WhatsApp Business API. Receipts, scheme reminders and order updates go out from your own system, using message templates that Meta approves first. We set up the account and the templates. Overseas numbers need care in how they are stored, so we check that against your real customer list before going live.
For a fixed catalogue, Shopify is usually the simpler answer. Payments, security and uptime are handled for you, and your time goes on photos and stock. If your items change value with the metal market, like jewellery, or you run schemes and old-gold exchange, custom software fits better. We will tell you which one suits your shop.
In Udupi, where Whirl Designs has its one studio. For meetings that need to happen at the shop, we travel up the coast to Bhatkal. The rest runs on WhatsApp and calls. Anyone in your family who lives abroad can join a video call at a time that suits them.
They can carry a second language. We write English and Kannada ourselves. For Urdu or Arabic, we set the pages up to show the script properly, including right-to-left text, and the words come from someone you trust, or are checked by them, before going live.
