Websites and management systems for schools and institutions

A school's website is read almost entirely by parents deciding, and almost entirely in the six weeks around admissions. Everything else it does is secondary to that window.

Manipal changes its population every intake, and the surrounding institutions live and die by the admission cycle. That gives a school or college site a sharper seasonality than almost any other sector here: it is either the most important thing the institution owns, or it is dormant.

Behind it, the administrative load is relentless and mostly clerical — attendance, fees, marks, certificates. Software earns its place by removing re-entry, not by adding dashboards nobody opens.

What this sector actually needs

Admissions that a parent can complete

Forms, documents and fee payment finished online, from a phone, possibly from another state.

One record per student

Attendance, fees and results against the same record, so nothing is reconciled by hand at term end.

Fees with a paper trail

Receipts, dues and reminders that add up, and a statement a parent can be shown.

Results without the spreadsheet

Marks entered once, published once, and the certificates generated from the same data.

A site that answers the comparison

Fees, faculty, facilities, results and how to apply — the five things a comparing parent looks for.

Being straight with you

We have not built one of these yet

School management is on our service list, and the underlying pieces — records, fees, role-based access, statutory output — are what the ERPs below do every day. We have not delivered one to an institution yet, and we would rather say so than dress up an adjacent project as one.

Questions we get asked

Can parents pay fees online?

Yes, with a gateway and an automatic receipt. The part that needs thought is reconciliation — matching a payment to the right student and the right term — because that is where these systems usually leak.

We already have a system we dislike. Can you migrate us?

Usually. The question is what condition the existing data is in. We look at that first and give you an honest answer about the effort before anyone commits.

Do you build the website and the software together?

They can be one project, and there is an argument for it — the admission form on the public site should write into the admissions record, not into an inbox.

Other sectors we build for
